About Me

I am no stranger to Pinnacle Schools. I began my journey here in 2005 while doing volunteer work for Emery High School Sterling Scholars; I helped with art lessons and projects with Mrs. Atwood’s 3rd grade class. While attending CEU in 2006 I worked as a temporary substitute teacher in the Jr. High/High School for Mrs. Larsen. Then in 2007 I started as a paraprofessional in the 4th grade and for the 2007-2008 school year I continued as a paraprofessional in the 10th grade. I left Pinnacle only to continue my own education in Cedar City for the 2008-2009 school year.

My college education started at the College of Eastern Utah. I graduated from CEU with my Associate of Science in Criminal Justice in 2007. I then graduated from Southern Utah University (May 2009) and obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. I recently graduated with a Master degree in Special Education (Feb. 2012). While working at Pinnacle I will also be continuing with more of my educational goals by working towards my Master degree in Psychology. When I began my education path my main goal was to work with children. I believe that education is very important and that I can productively work with children and help them with their own educational goals.

Children should know that education is the key for making dreams come true, and while working with Pinnacle Schools the educators here and myself will help them work towards those dreams!
